RENOVA - Training Programme PDF Print E-mail

The Training Programme targets the general medical nurses, midwives and nurses who want to acquire knowledge and skills in nursing management to increase the efficiency of  their work activities and their own professional development.

Structure

The Training will take  place during May 2012 in Romania and Poland: the Programme will be adapted from the French Health Care Management System in Nursing.

There will be 2 sessions- face-to-face and on line- 76 hours in total.

Modules

The following 4 modules will be tackled:

  • Ethics in Nursing
  • Communication in Nursing
  • Economic and Financial Management in Nursing
  • Legislation in Nursing

Criteria for Participation

  • at least 3 years of experience
  • a diploma/certificate of graduation as a nurse or midwife, in copy and in original form conformity
  • a copy of the certificate attesting the registration as a nurse or midwife in the professional organization of nurses for their country
  • identity card in copy
  • an official document that shows the details for any change of name when this is relevant
  • basic IT skills, including use of email and internet search

Certification

The graduation certificate will be issued by each institution in Romania and Poland in charge of the training programme:

  • University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila, Bucharest (Romania);
  • SYNTEA (Poland)

 

Credits

According to the  Romanian law in force, referring to the nurses and midwives lifelong learning training, each professional needs every year a number of 30 credits for the validation of the certificate attesting their registration as a nurse or midwife in the professional organization of nurses for their country. This training received 15 credits from the Order of Nurses and Midwives in Romania.

In Poland, there is no Continuing Professional Development System. Polish nurses do not receive educational credits, because there is no regulation in this respect.

In Romania between 21-25.05.2012, for the first  group notified by email:

The periods of training for the next groups  will appear on the portal and details related to the schedule of the training will be sent by email.

We want to inform the participants that The European Commission did not allocated funds for travel, subsistence and accommodation for trainees  within RENOVA project.

We want to inform the persons interested in  the training that the projects do not have a budget for travel, subsistence  and accommodation allocated for trainees.

RENOVA aims to create a methodology for the nurses’ professional progress and the actual course, developed under the projects provisions, will show the interest that such a training will raise. The results will be further used for the development of a European strategy for lifelong training in health domain.

RENOVA is a Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation project which belongs to the Lifelong Learning Programme, supporting participants in the acquisition and the use of skills and qualifications for professional development in the health management domain. RENOVA mainly addresses members of the nursing-practice community who want to develop organisational and managerial skills. The project prepares and deploys training silos organised in Poland and Romania, based on the transfer of French experience and expertise to facilitate face-to-face and eLearning sessions.
